A national retail chain with 80+ stores was relying on a legacy POS system that couldn't support online ordering, mobile payments or real-time inventory management. Customer expectations had shifted to expect seamless omnichannel experiences.
We built a cross-platform mobile application using React Native with a .NET Core backend API. The system integrated with the existing inventory management, payment processing and CRM systems through a middleware layer. Real-time inventory synchronisation was implemented using WebSocket connections with Redis caching.
The mobile application launched in 4 months, processing 100,000+ daily transactions within the first quarter. Online sales increased 35% and in-store pickup orders grew 60%. The real-time inventory system reduced stock discrepancies by 90%.
